This app is made by GoodDataLab Inc. This page explains what the app collects, why, and how long it is kept. It describes what the app actually does — if that changes, this page changes with it.

The short version

You can roll dice, keep a histogram, track the barbarian ship and generate maps without giving us anything. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts, and we have no account system. Two things do collect data: the shared dice sessions, and the ads.

Shared dice sessions (Remote Control)

When you create or join a room so that several phones show the same dice, the app signs in anonymously to Google Firebase. That produces a random ID which is not connected to you, your Apple ID, your Google account, or any other app.

While a room is open we store, on Google's servers:

Rooms are deleted automatically 24 hours after the last roll. If you never open Remote Control, none of this happens and no anonymous ID is ever created for you.

Ads

The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and watching one can unlock the map generator or let you host a room. Google's advertising SDK collects data of its own, which we do not receive or store:

This app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and does not do so. Google explains its own handling at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google. Payment details never reach us, and the app only stores a flag on your own device recording that a purchase was made.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. There is no way to enter personal information into the app.

Your choices

Don't open Remote Control and no anonymous ID is created. Leave a room and stop rolling and it disappears within a day on its own. Buying the ad-free unlock stops the ads and the data the ad SDK collects with them. Deleting the app removes everything held on your device.

To ask about data associated with a room, write to us with the room code while it still exists — after it expires there is nothing left to look up.
